Price range: £16.00 through £28.80

  • Cooling, nourishing support for hot flushes, night sweats + vaginal dryness
  • Traditionally used to support female reproductive wellbeing
Description

Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) is one of Ayurveda’s best-known women’s herbs, traditionally used to nourish and support women through different stages of life.

This cooling, restorative herb is particularly suited to times of hormonal change and depletion. As a Naturopath and Medical Herbalist, Nikki uses Shatavari for women experiencing symptoms associated with lower oestrogen, such as hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness and changes in libido, as well as for some women experiencing scanty periods or cyclical PMS symptoms.

Shatavari also has a long tradition of use for female reproductive wellbeing, including during fertility and breastfeeding, making it one of the most versatile women’s herbs in the Nikki Hill Apothecary collection.

For more targeted support for hot flushes and night sweats, Shatavari is paired with Meno-Ease Tea in our Meno-Ease Kit.
