A warming blend of clove, cinnamon bark and sweet orange essential oils, Cosy has been created to fill your home with the comforting aromas of the colder months.
Rich, spicy clove and cinnamon meet the bright, uplifting sweetness of orange to create a warm and inviting fragrance — perfect for dark evenings, fireside moments and curling up on the sofa.
Hand-poured in small batches in my studio in Wilmslow, Cheshire, using biodegradable soy wax, a cotton wick and pure essential oils. Nothing else.
Why choose an essential oil candle?
Essential oils are naturally aromatic extracts obtained from plants, flowers, leaves, woods and other botanicals. Unlike synthetic fragrance oils created primarily for scent, pure essential oils retain the distinctive natural aroma and character of the plants from which they’re derived.
At Nikki Hill Apothecary, I choose essential oils because I love the beautifully natural, layered fragrance they create and the way scent can become part of a calming everyday ritual.
Our candles are generously scented with pure essential oils and hand-poured using biodegradable soy wax and lead-free cotton wicks, with no synthetic fragrance, dyes, colourants or paraffin wax.
The result is a pure, natural home fragrance that brings the beauty of essential oils into your home and everyday rituals.
Candle Care
Nikki Hill Apothecary candles are lovingly hand-poured in small batches using soy wax, cotton wicks and pure essential oils. Follow these simple candle-care tips to encourage a beautiful, even burn and keep your candle looking its best.
Take Your Time
On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface to the edges of the jar. This helps prevent tunnelling and encourages an even burn throughout the life of your candle.
For safety and best performance, do not burn your candle for longer than 3–4 hours at a time.
Trim Your Wick
Before each burn, trim the wick and remove any burnt or mushroomed ends once the candle is completely cool.
Keeping your wick neatly trimmed helps maintain a steady flame and prevents soot from building up around the glass.
Reuse, Refill or Recycle
Once you've enjoyed your candle to the end, remove any remaining wax and wash the jar with warm, soapy water.
Reuse it around your home - it makes a lovely little plant pot, pen holder or storage jar - or simply recycle the glass.

It definitely fills the room with a very natural smell and burns very evenly unlike some candles. Treated myself and my friends to one. This scented candle is so rightly named- it is just soo cosy.
This is the perfect scent to snuggle up by the wood burner with a good book and a cup of tea. It’s rich and warming without being over powering. It’s a scent of gladness and contentment. I love it!

So happy to have discovered Nikki Hill Apothecary candles! I was already a fan of Nikki’s herbal teas, especially the Sleep one as it really helps me wind down in the evening. And now I can light a Cosy candle and truly relax. I’m quite fussy about fragrances and scents and don’t like anything too overpowering. But the Cosy candle’s fragrance is sophisticated and is there in the background without being overwhelming. It’s perfect for this time of year as cloves, cinnamon and orange are very festive but I think I’ll be lighting it all year round.
