Description
Female Comfort Tea – contains herbs to balance hormones, regulate prostaglandin metabolism, improve circulation to the pelvic area, and tone and relax the excessive contractions of the uterus. The herbs are combined so that the formula treats both the symptoms and the cause of period pain. I recommend drinking this tea all month long.
Cramp bark & Black Haw tincture – the best antispasmodic herbs to relieve period pain and can be taken a couple of days before the onset of your period and continued throughout to help relieve cramps and pain.
Works well with….
Deep comfort Bath & Body Oil. A deeply relaxing body oil that can be massaged into your abdomen or lower back to provide period pain relief.
Wild Nutrition Magnesium – helps relax smooth muscle tissue and has been shown greatly to reduce menstrual cramping. Magnesium deficiency is a leading cause of menstrual cramps and headaches.

Key Ingredients
Red raspberry leaf:
Red raspberry leaf contains a compound called Fragarine which is known to help tone and tighten muscles in the pelvic region, thereby assisting with the cramps caused by spasms of these muscles. It is also contains high levels of calcium and magnesium. These two minerals are a key factor in preventing muscle spasms and therefore preventing period cramping.
Lady’s mantle:
This gorgeous herb has anti-spasmodic and pain relieving effects as it contains compounds such as salicylic acid and quercetin which are known for their analgesic and anti-inflammatory actions.
Chamomile flowers:
Chamomile has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. It is also helpful for women with digestive constipation contributing to pain. Because this herb is also a nervine and mild sedative, it may help to reduce stress, relax the nervous system, and induce a restful state in the body. This can be very useful when experiencing menstrual cramping accompanied by anxiety and irritability.
Lemon balm:
A powerful anti-spasmodic that stops spasm and relieves pain caused by irritable bowel syndrome and period pain.
Lavender buds:
Helps to reduce stress-induced, pressured headaches, tense muscles and palpitations due to anxiety.
Ginger root:
Is warming and anti-inflammatory making it useful for period pain. It contains pungent components that have analgesic effects and contains prostaglandin-inhibiting actions that help to relive period pain and pre-menstrual migraines. It is also useful for women who experience nausea and vomiting with their period.
Peppermint leaf:
As peppermint acts as a muscle relaxant and pain reliever, it may diminish certain types of headaches.
Cramp Bark & Black Haw Tincture
Cramp bark and Black Haw are both antispasmodic herbs that have a relaxing effect on the smooth muscle and can slow or regulate the rate of contractions, both in the case of the uterus and in peristalsis of the bowel. Antispasmodics help alleviate organ pain cause by excessive muscle contraction. When muscle spasm is severe, the blood flow and oxygen supply to the organ is impaired (ischaemia), resulting in pain. Relaxation to the affected muscle brings relief.
Ritual
Female Comfort Tea - drink a cup a day throughout your cycle and then up to 3 cups a day leading up to your period and during your period to ease any discomforts.
Cramp Bark + Black Haw Tincture - take 1/2 teaspoon in a little water up to 4 times a day as soon as you feel the onset of pain. Reduce the dosage as symptoms abate. If your menstrual cycles are regular, you can start a day or two before the usual onset of cramps. It's best to start tincture before your cramps begin for optimal results.
CAUTION - do not take if pregnant or breast feeding. Avoid if sensitive to salicylates.
Reviews

Laura –
I had been suffering with real fluctuations in mood and it was only when I spoke to a friend that we realised it was aligned to my monthly cycle. Nikki recommended this kit. I take the tea all through my cycle every day and it is a gorgeous ritual that I have developed. The tincture I take for three days leading up to my period – this is pretty icky to taste but I cannot rave more highly about the results. My previous two cycles, I have noticed that my mood and energy has been much more balanced. I can’t believe I didn’t join the dots sooner! I am a coach and so many of my clients suffer with mood swings but don’t realise the link to their cycle so now I will recommend Nikki’s product to support them with their cycle! I am a new woman!
Nikki Hill –
Oh Laura, this review is music to my ears! I am so pleased that the kit has been helping your mood and period pain – I know the tincture doesn’t taste great but the two seconds of icky taste is so worth it for the benefits! 😉 Thanks for recommending me to your clients – I hope I can support them too as no woman needs to suffer!
