£3.95 – £17.50
- Combats sugar cravings
- Naturally sweet tea
- Supports digestion and stress
- Soothes sore throats and dry, spasmodic coughs
This delicious tasting tea is naturally sweet. It is my go to drink after dinner to soothe digestion and keep sugar cravings at bay!
Caution: As it contains licorice, people suffering hypertension should avoid excessive consumption.
A wonderful tasting herb that can help to ease an upset stomach and reduce bloating and flatulence. If you suffer heartburn it is best to avoid too much peppermint.
The sweet sap of the licorice root is sweeter than sugar so helps to keep sugar cravings at bay. Licorice is a soothing demulcent (something that encourages mucus production) making it perfect for dry, spasmodic coughs and sore throats. Licorice root is also an adaptogen and helps regulate cortisol levels — aka the stress hormone.
Place 1 heaped teaspoon into a teapot with an infuser or use my handy glass tea infuser. Add 1 cup (250ml) of boiling water. Allow to infuse for 5 minutes (or as long as you want - the longer you infuse the stronger the taste). Strain and serve. Drink 1-3 cups per day.
