Cramp Bark & Black Haw Tincture

(1 customer review)

  • Helps ease period pain that is colicky, crampy or contraction-like.
  • A natural and safer alternative to ibuprofen

Say goodbye to period pains with this Cramp bark and Black Haw tincture. Cramp bark and Black haw are two of the best antispasmodic herbs to have on hand at all times for any sort of menstrual pain as they are extremely effective at reducing uterine contractions, and uterine muscle spasm. Antispasmodics help alleviate pain caused by excessive muscle contraction. When muscle spasm is severe, the blood flow and oxygen supply to the organ is impaired (ischaemia), resulting in pain. Relaxation to the affected muscle brings relief.

Cramp bark and Black Haw tincture is safe to use for several days prior to onset of menses in anticipation and prevention of painful cramps. There is also no risk of liver damage from these herbs like there are with NSAID use.

Key Ingredients

Cramp bark (Viburnum opulus), Black Haw (Viburnum prunifolium), Aqua, Alcohol.

Caution - Do not take if pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid if sensitive to salicylates.

Take 1/2 teaspoon in a little water up to 4 times a day as soon as you feel the onset of pain. Reduce the dosage as symptoms abate. If your menstrual cycles are regular, you can start a day or two before the usual onset of cramps. It's best to start tincture before your cramps begin for optimal results. CAUTION - do not take if pregnant or breast feeding unless under the supervision of your healthcare provider. Avoid if sensitive to salicylates.
